Suzanne E. Miles-Gustave
Senior Managing Director
Suzanne E. Miles-Gustave is a Senior Managing Director at Ankura, based in New York. She is an experienced collective-impact executive with over 25 years of legal, strategic policy, and management expertise in the health, human services, and education reform sector. She specializes in strategic advisory, regulatory compliance, and fiscal modeling for growth in non-profit, human services, and healthcare providers.
Experience
Prior to joining Sachs Policy Group, an Ankura Company, Suzanne most recently served as New York City’s Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services and previously served in several roles in New York State government, including as acting commissioner, executive deputy commissioner, and general counsel at the New York State Office of Children and Family Services.
With a mission to support equitable systems of care that foster multi-generational family and community well-being, she is a proud member of the inaugural doctorate cohort at Meharry Medical College’s School of Global Health.
Suzanne began her public service work at the local level in New York City and Westchester County. She previously practiced law in the private sector and clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Suzanne is a product of the New York City public school system, holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and earned her law degree from Fordham University School of Law.
