Embree “Chuck” Bedsole Joins Ankura as Senior Managing Director

Team Joins to Focus on Extending Ankura’s Hospitality and Leisure Services Expertise
WASHINGTON D.C. – March 4, 2020 – Ankura, a global business advisory and expert services firm, today announced its appointment of Embree “Chuck” Bedsole as Senior Managing Director. Based in Dallas, Texas, Mr. Bedsole will enhance Ankura’s industry vertical in hospitality and leisure services.
Mr. Bedsole brings nearly four decades of industry experience, including 23 years with international professional service firms and five years of corporate-level experience with hospitality companies, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, development, finance operations, and marketing. Prior to joining Ankura, Mr. Bedsole most recently led the hospitality and leisure group at a global consulting firm, where he advised clients on various hospitality asset types including hotels, mixed-use resort developments, hotel condominiums, interval ownership, all-inclusive resorts, and marinas. He also has significant restructuring and workout expertise, including supporting clients during two major lodging industry downturns and previously holding the role of chief restructuring officer for two large destination resorts.
In conjunction with Mr. Bedsole’s appointment, Manuel Bremont and Hector Medina will join Ankura as Managing Director and Senior Director, respectively, to further bolster the firm’s expertise in the hospitality and leisure services industry. The three experts have well-established connections with deep operational, strategic planning, and market development expertise in hospitality and leisure services.
