Ankura Brooklyn Cyber Center

Building a Pipeline of the Next Generation of Diverse Cybersecurity Talent

Founded in 2021, the Brooklyn Cyber Center (BCC) initiative is designed to address the global talent and diversity deficiencies in the cybersecurity industry. Through it, we aim to create pathways to professional career opportunities for under-represented members of the Brooklyn community and beyond. The BCC provides hands-on practical training and an apprenticeship experience to people who otherwise might not have a pathway to join the ranks of the growing cybersecurity profession.

Drawing from the very communities in which we live and operate; the BCC actively enhances the diversity of the Ankura Cybersecurity team and strengthens our service offerings by bringing a broader set of perspectives to solving our clients’ problems. Read on to learn more about the BCC program and how to get involved.

How It Works

15-Week Immersive Cybersecurity Core Fundamentals Training

Program cohorts take part in a 15-week immersive Cybersecurity Core Fundamentals Training program that includes testing and completion of CYSA+ with trusted Ankura partner, Per Scholas in Brooklyn, New York.
