National Retail Healthcare Company
Balancing Integration, Change, and Speed
Ankura supported a publicly traded retail healthcare company in the acquisition of 13 healthcare practices. As part of the acquisition, Ankura led a $2.5 million program, consisting of ten workstreams designed to unify the merged IT organization. Ankura managed the conversion of 150 onsite clinics to a single end-user computing platform, standardizing business processes and technologies, and impacting 1,800 employees. The integration of intentional change management practices into the integration plan ensured employees understood their role in the project’s success and prepared them for the new operating model. Ankura completed this clinical technology conversion at 75% of the projected project cost.
