Major Global Contractor
Navigating a Nuclear Power Plant Delay Dispute
A major contractor for a nuclear power plant construction project was responsible for delivering one of the key mechanical packages and associated infrastructure for the project. A delay of several years resulted in a significant cost overrun. Ankura worked on-site with the contractor client team over a period of months to provide analysis and reports that were used by counsel to formalize and prosecute the claim. The report was used by the client as an instrument for renegotiating the terms of its contract governing the scope of work to completion.
